Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Accounting Manager will include:

  • Compensation (Range): 40-45.69/ hour: Salary:
  • On-site (May lead to 3 to 4 days a week at the facility)
  • 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Total 40 Hrs per week. (Overtime available during month end)
  • OT paid 1.5 x PR
  • Gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions.
  • Responsibilities include analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
  • Direct the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses, that summarize and forecast the organizations financial position
  • Prepare special reports required by regulatory authorities
  • Direct the organizations budgets to meet its financial goals
  • Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, o Execute capital-raising strategies to support a firms expansion
  • Oversee the firms issuance of credit, establishing credit-rating criteria, determining credit ceilings, and monitoring the collections of past-due accounts

Job Requirements

  • Significant experience required in Manufacturing Plant and Complex Accounting experience, including supervisory experience to manage a team of accountants and/or a complex process that interacts with multiple individuals outside of the department. Knowledge and experience of Finance systems and tools - Oracle, Bolt, JDE, Planful, HFM would be great.
  • Performing and/or overseeing highly specialized accounting work required to maintain the company's general ledger, resolving complex accounting issues resulting from routine and non-routine accounting transactions.
  • Reviews general ledger entries, account reconciliations, internal and external reports, schedules and statements.
  • Reviews existing internal controls on a regular basis and develops new internal controls as necessary and Implements new accounting standards.
  • Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures. (Important)
  • Experience with JD Edwards and Planful is a plus!
  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification required.
  • At least 8-10 years accounting manager/plant controller experience in manufacturing industry.
