Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Motor and Electronics Application Engineer. Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Motor and Electronics Application Engineer will include:

  • Compensation (Range): $40-$50 / hour: Salary
  • We are prepared to consider any level of experience from Entry Level graduate to Senior Engineer level with significant experience. Hourly rate expectations would need to be in line with less experience.
  • To understand motor portfolio in order to support/work as application engineer for NA customers.
  • Analyze and understand customer technical requirements and develop conformity matrix to be able to propose product for RFQ
  • Develop DVPR ensuring alignment with customer specifications
  • Support business pursuit activities, analyze RFQ packages. Develop eBOMs.
  • Create DFMEA's
  • Follow test and validations thru DV, PV phase, analyze results, Develop solutions to any validation challenges.
  • Engage in regular communication with NA customers and motors and electronics core engineers in India and France.
  • Follow PDP (Product development process) and meet all gate review requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering required.
  • Travel is required up to 30% both domestically and internationally to support the business, although this is an estimation and may increase or decrease depending on the needs of the business.
  • 0-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of engineering design of motors and electronics.
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to manage & coordinate multiple tasks.
