Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a IT Auditor will include:

• Job Title: IT Auditor
• Location: 80% Remote in the Columbus, Ohio area
• Direct Hire
• Salary: $90K per year
• Plan and perform information technology audits and business reviews of client companies, affiliated suppliers and vendors, which includes the evaluation of control practices, risk management and compliance conditions
• Develop recommendations for improving the operations while supporting self-reliance
• Write audit reports and audit summaries to effectively communicate the audit results
• Document audit activities effectively using approved workpaper formats
• Confirm countermeasure implementation and effectiveness through completion of follow up reviews
• Work closely with auditee management associates throughout the Audit process
• Communicate audit results to executive management in a clear and concise manner
• Evaluate management's countermeasure activity
• Help persuade or help others understand potential risk and risk mitigation through improved controls
• Have the ability to persuade or help others understand potential risk and improved controls
• Perform special projects as directed by AHM executive management and / or AHM Audit management
• Participate in select client information technology meetings and assist in supporting cross functional issues.
• Support organizational improvement through development and presentation of materials and training programs.
• Assist in developing and implementing improvements to the Audit Division tools, processes, and techniques to support continuous improvement and value added services

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology or related field or related professional experience
• Detailed knowledge in the following areas is necessary: information technology security, it general controls, governance, operating systems, networking systems, applications, infrastructure, and business continuity / disaster recovery
• Knowledge of it auditing principles and methodologies (e.g. Cobit, coso) is a significant plus
• Professional certification is preferred (e.g., cisa, cissp, etc.)
• Six to ten years of professional work experience with a large or medium sized international company involved with complex information technology operations (automotive experience is a significant plus)
