Supply Management Specialist

Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Supply Management Specialist will include:

• Compensation (Range): / hour: Salary: $22-24 per hour
• Location: Cary, NC
• Pay rate: $22-24 per hour
• Flexible start from 7am-9am.
• Starts out as a 1-year contract
• W2 employee of Bartech Staffing
• Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits offered
• The position will require up to 40-hours per week.
• Executes Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) with cost reduction activities, analyzing quotations, and making supplier selection based on criteria such as quality, cost, process capability, lead time and supplier stability.
• Participates in implementation of resourcing activities and make versus buy decisions.
• Collects cost data and prepares limited supplier cost/industry analyses.
• Develops and executes inventory plans to achieve inventory/asset management and material flow goals; resolves shipping, receiving, invoicing and payment problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.
  

Job Requirements

• Good understanding of Order Fulfillment principles and can independently use the knowledge. Skilled in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Project management experience.
• 1-3 years of Supply Management experience.
• Formal education in Business, Finance/Accounting, Supply Management, or Engineering.
• Recent graduates would also work well.
