Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Corrosion Quality Engineer will include:
- Compensation (Range): / hour: Salary: $95K- $142K
- The Corrosion Quality Principal Engineer serves as analysis support for test related concerns and is responsible to implementation and/or support strategies such as "Market Environment Monitoring" and "Market Vehicle Monitoring" relative to corrosion, Active Corrosion Monitoring (ACM) data collection in the US/Canada, and related activities as required in order to contribute to achievement of Business Unit and Company level business directives.
- Implementation of US portion of strategy to monitor Market Environmental Conditions, collaborating results with the Department's Canada Unit for summary regarding product corrosion performance impact.
- Implement US portion of strategy to confirm Market Vehicles collaborating results with the Department's Canada Unit for summary regarding product corrosion performance in the market.
- Collect US portion of ACM measurement and related data, collaborate results with Canada Unit data and summarize information for sharing with 4MOC/ADC.
- Support corrosion problem analysis/resolution with internal and external organizations to promote corrective action and closure of respective items.
- Facilitate strategy for periodic audit(s) of corrosion related critical Design/specifications/processes in support of related Depts/business units.
Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience including technical leadership in manufacturing Paint, Quality, or Design related organizations.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Corrosion (or relevant) engineering &/or related (paint, weld, etc…) work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct technical activities involving multiple internal and/or external organizations. Effective correlation of complex results including communication to a variety of audiences.
