Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Weld Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will include:
- Compensation (Range): / hour: Salary: 75k-85k
- Summarize in one statement how this job contributes to the overall mission and goals of HAM.
- Perform the design, layout, testing, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems.
- Perform product development activities including drawing board layout and interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements.
- Provide existing product line support in design activities and/or modification of hardware in production.
- Perform coordinating function during equipment downtime situations, providing countermeasure, improvement strategy and SQDC containment related to equipment
- Project lead - To include planning, budget, preparation, status reporting, and management 30%
- Design & Develop equipment C/M to address SQD characteristics 30%
- Job process engineering, development, and verification 20%
- Develop & Lead equipment improvement projects 10%
- Equipment analysis and development of improvement and countermeasure activity 5%
- Mentoring and team development 5%
- Create mechanical equipment Spare Parts plan for equipment repair and sustainability
- Optimize Equipment operations for production
- Develop & manage equipment standard for Production delivery
- Create plans for project completion and reporting
- Confirm parts meet regulatory requirements and develop system confirmation plans
- Lead special projects & Provide operations support
- Complete Countermeasure Request Forms ( CRF's ) and present change requests to R&/D
- Mentor and develop entry level engineers
Job Requirements
- Minimum Educational Qualifications Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum Experience 2-8 Years
- Other Job-Specific Skills Microsoft Office, 3D modelling software, Project management, Oral and Written Communication, CAD software, Interpersonal, and Customer service skills
