Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Work Management Specialist will include:

• Compensation (Range): / hour: Salary: $36-38 per hour

• Location: Detroit, MI
• Pay Rate: $38 per hour
• 1 year contract opportunity

• Coordinate activities between suppliers, and clients to ensure correct prints and specs are in use, they are entered into the Maximo system and are accessible by the client.
• Ensure correct Preventative Maintenance needs are known, and available in coordination with Document Controls. Ensure spare parts are purchased and align with needs.
• Move assets from various states to remove interest payments and move to depreciation as they are commissioned and activated.
• Plans and prepares work orders for multi-week schedule for all groups involved in equipment outages, corrective and preventive maintenance, capital and operating/maintenance modifications.
• Works with internal resources, vendors, and contractors to develop and execute work packages maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
• Utilizes the following systems to create and track optimal sequencing of work orders and work completion:
• Identifies root causes of problems and establishes work scope for daily and project work
• Develops accurate time and resource estimates that require appropriate levels of productivity
• Develops accurate job plans that provide step by step process to complete work scope efficiently
• Validates resource and job plan estimates against actuals to improve Maximo data
• Creates or supports accurate, complete multi-week schedules, including milestone dates for major projects
• Builds complete packages, including safety notices, which are validated through walk-downs
• Manages backlog consolidation requests
• Completes required purchasing and procurement tasks as necessary
• Develops and maintains and supports the management of preventive maintenance work
• Recommends the most effective use of both internal and external resources including the use of data analytics
• Utilizes the appropriate tools to create, plan and execute the work, including Maximo, Documentum, scheduling software, and Office 365
• Creates and maintains effective daily interactions with engineering, project management, various levels of job supervisors, specialty vendors and contractors

Job Requirements

• Maximo, SAP, Documentum, EBS, scheduling software, and Office 365.
• Requires strong coordination and planning, scheduling, and estimating skills to ensure maintenance is performed in a timely and efficient manner with verifiable metrics.
