Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a HR Compensation Analyst will include:

  • HR Compensation Analyst
  • Contract - 9 months with potential to extend
  • Pay- 40-45/hr
  • New York, NY- Hybrid
  • The purpose of this role is to support the business in attracting, retaining and motivating talent with a competitive reward package, clear and transparent reward principles, and great reward communication.
  • This role does this by partnering with customers across the company to implement reward policy and programs and build reward capability.
  • This role is part of the global reward COE structure and will be a member of the North America Rewards Team.
  • Additionally, this role will partner with our Talent Engagement Team and HRBPs and will be the key point of contact for compensation related matters. They will deliver against the strategic reward priorities.
  • Alongside leading on priorities, the role holder will also be involved in broader global reward projects and activities in support of US, USVI and Canada regions.
  • Drives the NAM Reward Strategy for the unionized and non-unionized populations. Will lead, drive and deliver Reward projects and activities.
  • Delivers expert support, guidance and recommendations across total Reward areas including but not limited to benchmarking, salary management, job evaluation, merit budget planning, annual incentive planning and total reward communication.
  • Provides analytical insight with focus to drive ongoing and new compensation programs and participates in the design and development of new programs, policies and principles.
  • In conjunction with the HR Rewards team and Shared Services, plays a key role in the Annual Reward Cycle (ARC) process for the NAM population. Ensures consistency of approach across the global function with clear communications.
  • Builds Reward understanding and capability in HR Business Partners, Talent Engagement, people managers and employees to enable attract, retain and motivate.
  • To be successful in this role, the role holder needs to build strong and effective relationships with Market Reward colleagues globally, Shared Services teams, Executive Reward, HR Directors & Business Partners, Employee Relations and Talent Engagement teams.



Job Requirements

  • Given the complexity and dynamics of this role, Compensation experience in the US and Canada regions, with global populations would be an advantage, as would experience with unionized populations.
  • Strong analytical skills are critical, along with the ability to work with complex data, draw insights and recommendations. Equally as important is the ability to bring these insights and recommendations to life for a broad range of partners in an engaging and easy to understand manner.
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with a broad range of customers.
  • Validated commercial experience and the ability to confirm that they understand the commercial agenda.
  • Can work well under pressure and autonomously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver impactful communications materials, achieve clarity and understanding of Reward with varied audiences.
  • Sophisticated excel skills with the ability to effectively present data and implement models is required.
  • Proficiency in Workday is preferred.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
