Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Facilities Controls Engineer will include:
- Compensation (Range) Salary: $90K-$95K per year
- Keywords (2-5)*: Engineer, facilities, HVAC, Chillers, electrical, Controls, Machines
- Understands facilities controls systems architecture. Extensive experience with Controls upgrade and replacements.
- IT networking proficient relating to programming facilities equipment and systems. -- understands the IT & networking aspect of facilities equipment and systems. Will work closely with IT networking team.
- Thorough understanding of and experience with concept through final design of facilities equipment and systems: HVAC, chillers, compressed air, industrial water, wastewater.
- Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of facilities equipment is the most important requirement. Can substitute experience for degree.
- Could also be a Facilities Electrical / Controls Engineer
- Experience as a Project engineer: planning, budgeting, scheduling, material and equipment selection.
- Experience managing contractors
- Will be mostly working with the equipment
