Hourly pay range $ 40-42/hour

Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Maintenance Supervisor, Ingersoll, ON (On site) will include:

SHIFT: 3 Rotating Shifts

  • 3rd - 2 weeks (midnights - 11-7am
  • 2nd - 2 weeks (afternoons) 3pm - 11pm
  • 1st - 2 weeks (days) 7am - 3pm


About the Role:
We are looking for curious and innovative maintenance leaders. In this role, you will use your technical competencies to lead and mentor our skilled trades. You will work side by side with our skilled tradespeople to create a work environment free of personal injury. You will collaborate on creative improvements to manufacturing processes, machine reliability, equipment capability and operating efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise 2 trades - elections and industrial mill rights
Day Shift
Supervisor 16-20 preventative maintenance workers
Afternoon shift

  • 8-12 people
  • Follow up repair work
  • Preventative maintenance

Midnight Shift

  • Supervise 3-6 people
  • Follow up repairing
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Making sure everything is production ready


* Promote a workplace safety culture that prioritizes every employee's safe return home.
* Lead, mentor and support our skilled tradespeople in achieving industry leading business objectives.
* Engage our skilled tradespeople to continuously improve their competencies, skills, work environment, capability and agility.
* Diagnose equipment issues and implement irreversible corrective actions.
* Schedule maintenance tasks to optimize the effectiveness of our available resources.
* Utilize maintenance management tools to evaluate equipment reliability, capability, serviceability, and overall cost effectiveness.
* Solicit your team's creativity in responding to issues.
* Inspire your team to success through recognition and celebrating moments that matter.
* Coordinate the development of safe and effective maintenance procedures.
* Organize your team and measure their performance through application of our client's Global Manufacturing System (GMS)
* Collaborate with, support and trust your peers across functions to achieve enterprise objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8-10 years' experience, can consider someone with a little bit less experience
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with others, motivate and support team member needs.
  • Technical competencies aligned with leading fast-paced manufacturing maintenance teams
  • Ability to lead maintenance operations on rotating shifts and weekends as required
  • Commitment to customer focus.
  • Willingness to approach equipment reliability with the urgency, precision and safety of a Formula 1 pit crew.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation and the ability to infect others with that same drive.
