Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a 2nd Shift Maintenance Team Lead will include:
- Compensation (Range): 38-43/ hour: Salary:
- Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position**
- Full time, 2nd shift position. Hours 2pm-10:30pm with occasional OT as needed. Should be able to work overtime when needed
- Local candidates only **
- Open to recent grads if they are able to help work with skilled trades on the floor.
- Will drive a Deere gator regularly at the facility
- Metatarsals required from day one
- Supervisor- Will spend most of the time supervising skilled trades and helping them. About 90% of the time
- Maintenance engineer - will help troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues within machining centers - 10% of the time
- Work with Maintenance Senior Maintenance Team Leader to assure maintenance organization maintains cost structure line.
- Will be responsible for preforming weekly preventive maintenance audits to increase visibility and maintenance effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- SAP experience
- Experience with unions/maintenance/safety highly preferred - background in engineering also preferred
- Must be able to lead a team of union skilled trades that includes pipe fitters. Electricians, and R5s (mechanics)
- Active engagement in Maintenance Safety Culture.
- Experience with leading/supporting preventive maintenance program
