Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a IT Program Manager will include:

  • Compensation (Range): $68-71/hr
  • Responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of a project. Program Managers ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Primary responsibilities of this position are related to leading program management functions including tools and reporting, and process management. Some of the specific responsibilities of this role include:
  • Maintaining on-going relationship with suppliers/vendors and conduct a cost-benefit analysis on all IT related projects in order to ensure maximum return on IT investment
  • Defining and interpreting performance metrics in an effort to communicate program performance
  • Identifying process and performance metrics improvements
  • Serve as the overall subject-matter expert in Project Management knowledge areas
  • Establish and maintain a program for monitoring and reporting on compliance to adopted PM standards
  • Provide a program to ensure continued utilization and maturation of best practice PM standards and methodologies
  • Help ensure growth and success by providing mentoring and training in the established processes, policies and procedures, as well as the tools and templates
  • Facilitating program review meetings with IT leadership, including Solution Delivery teams
  • Oversee the IT PM Processes related to process compliance and facilitate the change control process
  • Oversee IT Analyst efforts to drive process compliance down to the program and project levels
  • Oversee IT Tools and Reporting activities to configure and maintain the PPM tool
  • Maintaining on-going relationship with suppliers/vendors and conduct a cost-benefit analysis on all IT related projects in order to ensure maximum return on IT investment
  • Providing leadership to resolve technical errors or breakdown and providing valid solutions and recommendation so as to ensure all business operations runs smoothly
  • Recommending information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
  • Accomplishing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
  • Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Completing projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center



Job Requirements

  • Years of experience - 10+ years in a PM / PgM role
  • Education level - Bachelors degree in the field of business, accounting, computer science, or field with equivalent benefit
  • Other - Expert in project management disciplines; Strong presence with leadership; Strong communication
  • PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Ability to prioritize issues across the programs in order to escalate to the appropriate level
  • Ability to understand future impacts of identified issues and risks
  • Ability to convey program performance and make management recommendations
  • Provides direct, complete and actionable feedback to others, including those in management positions
  • Sets clear measurable objectives and monitors progress and outcomes
  • Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done
  • Pursues everything with energy, drive and a will to finish
  • Capable of making tough decision on a timely basis
  • General Microsoft applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Project)
  • Other - PMP certification preferred
