Job Responsibilities

• The Global Transmission Calibration Engineer will be responsible playing an integral part for developing the customer driving experience as well as optimizing fuel economy.
• Developing, verifying and releasing transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications,
• Performing hands-on, in-vehicle calibration development work,
• Supporting test trips to verify proper transmission operation across environmental conditions and other assigned powertrain development activities.
• In addition, this position will work to coordinate activities of global teams conducting various aspects of vehicle development for global markets. This position will work with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab to meet objectives. This role is responsible for working with a global team to manage transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Prior Automotive Experience (University SAE or other experience is acceptable)
• Excellent written and Oral communication skills MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Product Proficiency Desire to perform in-vehicle test and development work in addition to analysis "desk" work Willingness to work with global teams Will consider experienced candidates and new college graduates
• Onsite - anywhere from 3-5 days per week.
