Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Compensation (Range): $40-$43 / hour
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems.
• Analyze production, quality control, and maintenance metrics to identify and resolve production issues.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge employees as needed.
• Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with company guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and personnel records.
  

Job Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving ability with the capability to work independently.
• Familiarity with raw materials, production processes, and quality control procedures.
• Working knowledge of machines, tools, their design, operation, repair, and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of design techniques and tools used in technical drawings, blueprints, and models.
• Proficiency in Kronos or similar workforce management systems is required.
• Flexibility to rotate shifts every three (3) months as per operational needs.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience in a production or supervisory role.
