HR Generalist

Hourly pay range $ 40-41.54
Job Responsibilities
Business Excellence
- Manage recruitment and hiring for the facility, including university co-op partnerships.
- Build strategic partnerships with employees and supervisors to foster positive employee relations.
- Develop and implement progressive discipline plans for attendance, conduct, and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations through HR policy implementation.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview processes, and onboarding for hourly employees.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations concerns.
People & Culture
- Act as the primary contact for labor relations, including grievance procedures and collective bargaining administration.
- Coach and advise employees and managers on HR policies and labor agreements.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, compensation, and training initiatives.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or Business-related field.
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred:
- Labor relations experience in a unionized manufacturing facility.
- PHR/SPHR certification.
