Hourly pay range $50-$60

Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in electric utilities to oversee and deliver a high volume of low- to moderate-complexity projects. In this hybrid role, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously while working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of project planning and execution for electric utility projects, with accountability or guidance from Senior Project Managers or Directors
  • Oversee a portfolio of multiple lower-complexity, high-volume projects, ensuring all project success factors are achieved
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, environmental, and security requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, providing leadership, decision-making, guidance, and communication
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success
  • Travel within a 175-mile radius of Charlotte as needed to visit project sites, including electrical substations and transmission line corridors
  • Adhere to safety protocols by wearing appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, flame-resistant clothing, safety toe boots) when in the field


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the electric utility sector
  • Proven experience managing high-volume project portfolios
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in both office and field settings while following safety protocols
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within a 175-mile radius as required
  • Associate degree or higher from a two-year college or university (Bachelor's degree preferred)
