Supply Management Specialist III - Fargo, NDPay Range - $37/HR Bartech has an excellent contract opportunity with John Deere client for a Supply Management Specialist. Execute supplier sourcing strategies for indirect materials including packaging, chemicals, equipment, etc. to support research & development and factory production. Additionally, this role will:Job Description Length: 2-year contract (eligible to extend) Schedule: 1st shift onsite at Fargo Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (some partial remote possible)Summary: * Execute supplier sourcing strategies for indirect materials including packaging, chemicals, equipment, etc. to support research & development and factory production * Manage and facilitate on-going daily interactions with cross-functional departments at the factory * Maintain supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in terms of delivery, cost, quality, and business performance * Analyze, negotiate, and manage supply agreements to ensure compliance, continuity of supply, and company goals are achieved * Maintenance of purchasing data in an ERP systems as well as the implementation of cost controls and tracking cost reductionsWhat makes you stand out: * 2+ years in supply management (indirect supply management preferred) * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively for changing conditions * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Project management experience involving multiple functional areas * Experience developing or managing contracts, particularly development agreements and/or statements of work * Experience with negotiations, driving cost reductions, contract negotiations, indirect supply management experience * Self-motivated, and possesses initiative to seek out additional responsibility * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of software, especially Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook * Local candidates preferredManager is looking for a confident/strong communicator and someone that is highly organized.BA in Supply Management/Business/Accounting/Related Field- RequiredVisa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing while providing services to John Deere, who is looking for people who are eligible to work in the US and can start immediately.
