Automotive Test Technician

Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Automotive Test Technician. Hourly pay range $ 22-25
Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of all items making up the test cell facility, including drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers, pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, collecting motor vibration data, filter replacement, harness and wiring troubleshooting, etc.
• Fabricating and wiring specialty equipment with or without drawings, such as fluid conditioning systems, specialty brackets, special carts, etc., using existing and purchased parts where necessary
• Calibration of equipment and preventive and predictive maintenance work
• Troubleshooting, installation and removal of calibrated equipment (RTD, Pressure Transducer, Flowmeter, Torque meter, etc.) for test operation
• Working on the preventative maintenance team, go to a test cell go through and do verifications for equipment, things that need calibration, remove the existing component and replace with a similar one, some calibration they will do in the cell (hook up calibration master, run through the process) filter replacement, verification that systems are there and working as needed, do some pretest builds.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Required Degree - Associate's Degree prefers technical degree (example - engineering)
• Years of experience - At least 2-4 years' experience
• Test operator, test technician
• Basic understanding of the space\
• Would like someone with lab exposure
• A lot of troubleshooting activities
