310S Automotive Mechanic Technician

Hourly pay range $ 39 - $ 41



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Service customers on engineering teams, retrofit teams, Marketing/PR teams and the Canada fleet.
• Automotive technician repairs, instrumentation/testing of development vehicles and providing mechanical leadership to new innovations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Global Connect or similar
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and work independently or with other team members
• Ability to identify unique situations and escalate accordingly
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Proficient with MDI technician tool
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specification
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Ability and willingness to work in a cross functional environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Experience with vehicle instrumentation and sensors
• Minimum of 8 years of experience; must be independent, professional, and able to hit the ground running
• Experience diagnosing GM electric vehicles is a strong advantage, particularly with EV systems diagnostics
• Must hold at least a 310S license (or equivalent); a valid G Class driver's license is also required
• Natural Gas and Propane Vehicle Certification preferred
• Wrecker license and Class D (or higher) driver's license required
• Exceptional at vehicle systems diagnostics
• Diagnosing troubleshooting systems

PREFREED QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Knowledge of Intrepid Vehicle Spy tool and software preferred
• Demonstrated capabilities with electric vehicles
• Demonstrated abilities providing mechanical and electrical solutions to new innovations
• Previous motor vehicle experience
