Job Responsibilities

• Compensation (Range): $25/hr - $29/hr
• The main function of a Technical Writer is to write automotive technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.
• Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication

Job Requirements

• Technical Expertise + Writing Skill
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts (e.g., APIs, cloud infrastructure, software development) and translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Experience working closely with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to gather information and ensure documentation is accurate and timely
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as automotive technology, engineering and similarly related - PERFERRED
• 0-2 years experience required
