Job Responsibilities
- Compensation (Range): 54.84 / hour
- Location: Auburn Hills/Warren, MI (Onsite at CTC 20% and Warren Truck Assembly Plant 80%, 1 day remote allowed)
- Travel: Required between CTC and Warren Truck; suppliers and WTAP
- Hours and schedule: Flexible hours, overtime permitted, up to 50hrs/wk depending on program milestones/deliverables. Plant starts early, 5a.m.
- Pay Rate: $54.84/hour
- Support for all integration activities and interface for all issues (cost, timing, program planning, launch support, program resolution, etc)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another related Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university or equivalent
- 5+Years experience
- Design, development, and program management experience in broad powertrain functions and/or vehicle engineering in any of the following areas: engine, transmission, driveline, packaging, adaptation, controls, or calibration
- Demonstrated high leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Demonstrated understanding of the Company product development processes, design validation, Key Process Indicators (KPI), and gate processes
- Demonstrated team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, and to work with minimal direction (ability to understand and complete next steps without guidance)
- Preferred Requirements:
- Master of Science degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another related Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university or equivalent or
- Master of Business Administration Degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent
- Experience and understanding of the vehicle cost process
- Experience with the ER&D roll-up process
- Experience with Change Notice (CN) and Common Change Document (CCD) process
- Significant knowledge of the automotive industry and competitive benchmarks
- Program life cycle experience
- Experience as a Resident/Quality Engineer at one or more manufacturing plants
- Additional Must Haves
- Demonstrated high leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated
- Interpersonal skills, proven capability to build and maintain relationships with plant launch teams and indirect report
- Proven understanding of software and calibration for triage
