Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Field Service Representative- Marine will include:

  • Job Title: Field Service Representative - Marine
  • Location: Alpharetta, GA (Extensive travel required (75%+), including occasional weekends)
  • Salary range- 70-80/k
  • As a Field Service Representative, you will deliver technical service support, training, and problem resolution to marine dealers, enhancing retail customer satisfaction. You will serve as the primary liaison between the company and its dealer network, ensuring alignment with service standards and technical excellence.
  • Provide technical support and resolve product issues for marine dealers and retail customers (60%)
  • Report field product performance and issues to engineering teams (15%)
  • Deliver technical training and motivate dealership service staff (15%)
  • Support Techline call duties and assist with dealer inquiries (5%)
  • Execute special projects such as performance testing and staff training (5%)


Job Requirements

  • College degree in Business or Industrial field preferred; vocational or marine technical training desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience and 2 years in service management, field service, or technical training within the marine or related industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of marine engines, drivetrains, rigging, diagnostics, and repair
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools, engine monitoring equipment, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Performance Indicators
  • Timely resolution of customer relations issues
  • Completion of new dealer orientations
  • Increased percentage of trained dealers and technicians
  • Working Relationships
  • Internal: Warranty, Service Engineering, Customer Relations, Parts, Publications, Training, Sales, and National Service teams
  • External: Marine dealers, retail customers, and service training instructors
  • Working Conditions
  • Travel required more than 75% of the time
  • Must be capable of operating boats and towing trailers
  • Occasional weekend work
