Hourly pay range $ 70-75

Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Construction Specialist will include:

• The Construction Specialist IV supports a diverse Construction and Maintenance team in achieving company objectives through the execution of construction, maintenance, and restoration activities.
• This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
• Provide technical advisement to SOG Project Managers and the commissioning group.
• Deliver switchgear training at Operations Centers.
• Offer onsite support for new equipment installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot constructability issues, design flaws, and material shortages.
• Assist with TripSaver projects, including storage, reprogramming, and inventory management.
• Manage RMAs for motors, circuit boards, and power supplies.
• Rebuild units from parts when feasible.
• Track switchgear door modifications and manage related inventory issues.
• Oversee modem orders and inventory, assigning IPs per the recloser and switchgear master list.
• Coordinate with storekeepers to trigger modem demand.
• Maintain emergency parts inventory at the St. Pete lab.
• Handle device RMAs as needed.
• Conduct first responder inspections and field verifications of TripSavers, reclosers, and switchgear.
• Confirm as-built documentation and identify construction errors.
  
  Job Requirements
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction, maintenance, or related technical fields.
• Strong understanding of switchgear systems, reclosers, and field commissioning.
• Proven ability to manage materials, troubleshoot technical issues, and support field operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic project needs.
