Hourly pay range $ 46-47

Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Senior Engineering Technologist -Transmission Protection & Controls (P&C) - Project Scoping will include:

• Develop comprehensive P&C scopes of work for capital projects, ensuring constructability and compliance.
• Evaluate substation yard and control house impacts, specify major equipment changes, and determine relay and panel layouts.
• Identify telecom requirements, cable types, and material needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Construction, Maintenance, Project Management, Planning, and Operations.
• Conduct site visits to assess current conditions and planned changes.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, calculations, and sketches.
• Lead engineering studies and manage project schedules with minimal oversight.
• Maintain accurate records and support company goals with professionalism.
  
  Job Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering Technology + 3+ years of relevant experience OR Associate Degree in Engineering Technology + 5+ years of experience OR 9+ years of equivalent experience without a degree
• Expertise in protection settings and control design for various substation types.
• Familiarity with SPCC plans and secondary oil containment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience in the utility industry and working with diverse teams.
