Job Responsibilities

• Job Title: Contract Specialist
• Location: On-Site -Bartlesville, OK
• Contract- 12 months w/ potential to extend
• Pay $50-53/hr
• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Specialist to join our team on-site at our Bartlesville or Houston office. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of procurement activities supporting the Information Technology organization, including software, hardware, maintenance, and services.
• Lead the solicitation, negotiation, award, and post-award administration of IT-related contracts.
• Execute daily procurement operations, including:
• Agreement/contract/amendment negotiation
• Contract administration
• Invoice resolution and supplier relationship management
• Negotiate and execute Master Agreements and support commercial strategies aligned with Procurement goals.
• Ensure compliance with Contracting Standards & Procedures and support local implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement in contracting processes and tools.
• Manage assigned categories with a focus on stakeholder engagement and value delivery.
• Mitigate procurement risks while reducing total cost of ownership.
• Maintain contract documentation in accordance with document retention policies.
• Support audit activities and resolve contract disputes (pricing, quality, timing, claims, liens, etc.).
• Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with all owner clause owner requirements and legal statutes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience in Procurement and/or IT contracts.
• Experience with purchase orders, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
• Preferred:
• Procurement experience in the energy industry.
• Proficiency in SAP and Icertis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence key decisions.
