Energy Analyst

Hourly pay range $ 45-48
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as an Energy Analyst will include:
- Monitor and report RNG production and credit generation (LCFS, RFS) to EPA, CARB, and internal systems
(Relevant Experience: Accounting, Financial Reporting) - Collect and track production data in coordination with Operations and Engineering
(Commodity Production Analyst background helpful) - Manage and update daily gas nominations with pipelines
(Ideal for someone with Natural Gas scheduling experience) - Oversee RIN (Renewable Identification Number) generation and transfers with third-party consultants
(Experience as a Processor or in Environmental Markets) - Support EPA and CARB registrations, audits, and engineering reviews by providing invoices, reports, and operational data
(Experience in Audit, Accounting, and Regulatory Filings) - Prepare and submit new fuel pathway petitions and registrations under RFS and LCFS programs
(Familiarity with compliance reporting and environmental markets is a plus) - Distribute royalty statements to source customers
(Billing Analyst, AP/AR experience helpful) - Validate RNG sales statements and partner invoices for accuracy
(Billing and AP/AR background preferred) - Validate and process vendor payments related to compliance and consulting
(Procurement or AP/AR experience) - Submit purchase requisitions for vendor services
(Procurement or Billing role experience beneficial)
Job Requirements
- Accounting, commodity production or gas scheduling (e.g., natural gas or electricity),
financial reporting, regulatory compliance (EPA, CARB, IRS), billing/accounts payable or
receivable. - Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)
- Familiarity with industry-specific platforms (e.g., pipeline nomination portals, RIN
systems) - Temporary Energy Analyst - Renewable Gas (Maternity Leave Coverage) Potential for
Permanent Position Based on Fit - Analyst in commodity production or gas scheduling (e.g., natural gas or electricity), Doing daily Gas or electricity nomination
- Collect and track production data in coordination with Operations and Engineering
(Familiarity with compliance reporting and environmental markets especially EPA) Regulatory compliance (EPA, CARB,) Monitor and report RNG production and credit generation (LCFS, RFS) to EPA - Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)
- Familiarity with industry-specific platforms (e.g., pipeline nomination portals, RIN systems)
