Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will include:
- Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Equipment Senior Engineer, where you'll lead cutting-edge tooling strategies to boost productivity, quality, and efficiency on our production lines.
- This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and collaborating across departments to drive innovation.
- Lead and manage the cutting tool budget, including analysis and cost control.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and maintain cutting tools, holders, and drawings.
- Drive continuous improvement through tool analysis and engineering theory.
- Support new model launches and capacity increases with tool development.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to implement new technologies.
- Present technical reports and communicate across all organizational levels.
- Execute business plan activities and support trial runs for new tools and models.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (2D & 3D), and SolidWorks.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering designs and perform advanced mathematics.
- Tooling cost per unit (CPU) vs. budget.
- Cost-saving initiatives and project schedule adherence.
- Daily engineering support effectiveness.
Starting salary of minimum to $65K-70k below max depending on education, skills, experience and level of experience
