Hourly pay range $ 30-35/hr
Job Title: Vehicle Repair Technician
Location: Milford, MI
Shift:1st 7am-3:30pm
Travel: Some travel (Colorado, Arizona, California, Nevada)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Vehicle Repair Technician with strong mechanical and electrical expertise. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing comprehensive vehicle repairs, including welding, fabrication, and electrical diagnostics. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Vehicle Repair Technician will include

• Perform all aspects of mechanical repairs, including teardown and rebuild of gas vehicles.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and wiring repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Execute welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Utilize Microsoft Office products for documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve repair processes.
  

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in vehicle repair, with strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Education: 2-year technical degree preferred, but candidates with extensive experience and no degree will be considered.

Technical Skills:

• Wiring repair and diagnostics (Top priority).
• Electrical troubleshooting and schematic interpretation.
• Mechanical teardown and rebuild proficiency.

Soft Skills:

• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Optimistic and solution-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to build custom wire harnesses.
• Experience reading and applying complex schematics.
• Background from reputable technical schools or companies is a plus.
