Production Supervisor

Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Production Supervisor. Hourly pay range $ 30-33
Job Responsibilities

• The Supervisor will be responsible for coaching safety, quality, and productivity to meet operational objectives.
• This includes monitoring standardized work, optimizing throughput, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach team members on safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Monitor ANDON occurrences and act as first responder
• Verify safe and efficient line operation through process confirmation
• Support and coach Kaizen (continuous improvement) efforts
• Communicate effectively and recognize team contributions
• Meet targets for FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expenses
• Build capability among Team Leaders and Team Members
• Foster a positive and productive work environment
• Handle basic administrative duties and documentation

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and rotating schedules
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Experience assigning work to unionized hourly workforce
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Demonstrated leadership
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills
