Pay Range - $ 42/hr

Bartech has an excellent contract opportunity with John Deere client for a Software Tools Dev Engineer. As a Software Tools Dev Engineer located in Torrance, CA, you will develop and implement tools to support analysis of GNSS StarFire receivers. Additionally, this role will:

Job Description

• Support and implement test automation features for the software test team.
• Diagnose and solve software defects.
• Analyze issues in a systematic, persistent, and thorough manner.
• Execute and support software engineering test and verification assignments for GNSS StarFire receivers
• Understand GNSS concepts and fundamentals, contributing through tools development and automation work assignments.
• Provide daily assistance and guidance to the team on work assignments, which may include working with non-technical team members to understand software issues.
  

Job Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience with C#, C/C++
• 2 or more years of experience in the software development life cycle
• 2 or more years of experience in test execution and reporting/tracking software defects
• 2 or more years of experience with GitHub
• 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong software analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve and convey complex features/issues to engineers in other disciplines
