Job Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts and Licensing Coordinator to oversee the management and execution of agreements related to oil licensing.
  • In this key role, you will ensure agreements are drafted, renewed, and executed on schedule, supporting compliance and licensing activities for our team.
  • You will collaborate with legal staff, interface with external licensees, and provide valuable insights and status updates to leadership.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage the development and renewal of licensing agreements to prevent lapses or expirations
  • Serve as a liaison between licensees and legal staff for contract negotiations and execution
  • Gather, interpret, and analyze complex industry data
  • Manage a variety of special assignments and assist in developing licensing strategies
  • Prepare monthly presentations updating leadership on agreement status and key initiatives
  • Oversee project management activities, including budgeting
  • Stay in regular contact with internal teams and industry contacts outside the organization
  • Coordinate delivery of intellectual property assets to licensees
  • Monitor compliance of licenses in accordance with contractual terms
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Ability to read, interpret, and manage multiple contracts
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical problem-solving skills for complex and unusual challenges
  • Knowledge or experience with the Independent Automotive Aftermarket
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically
  • Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Understanding of intellectual property licensing practices
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to service and parts information
  • Familiarity with Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association standards
  • Experience in automotive aftermarket or similar licensing environments
  • Knowledge of automotive service and parts file formats
  • Prior supervisory experience
