Hourly pay range $ 42-44

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) - Exterior Trim
• Define parameters and standards of critical systems integrated into CAD design templates for vehicle evaluation & implementation.
• Specific prior expertise in Fascias, Grilles, Cladding required
• Adaptation of studio surface data to meet engineering and parametric modeling requirements
• Competive benchmarking of assigned systems
• Maintain templates / requirements as standards change
• Associative parametric modeling
• CAD model and template set up
• Requirement section development, application, buy off, change process
• Highest Level of CAD Skillset,Parametric CAD Modeling Required
• Specific expertise in Exterior Trim CAD design require
• Willingness to learn KBE processes for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
• CAD Engineer - Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) - Exterior Trim

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX (must)
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or EE) or equivalent bachelors degree with experience.
• 1-3 Years of Exterior Trim Automotive Engineering Experience (specific examples required)
• Strong English Speaking skills
• Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required
• No driving a company vehicle is required
• Occasional travel to the US required to meetings/trainings
• Hybrid ARDC

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of Body and Body Exterior CAD Engineering experience
• 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Catia V5 or V6.
• 1-3 Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
• 1-3 Years of Exterior Trim Automotive Engineering Experience (specific examples required)
• 1-3 Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
