Hourly pay range $ 25-27
Job Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Technical Service Agent to support our growing portfolio of home energy and EV charging solutions.
- In this role, you will provide remote troubleshooting, handle customer support cases, and assist in the ongoing development of service and training processes.
- This is a 2nd shift position (11am-8pm EST), based onsite in Michigan, and is ideal for someone passionate about technical problem-solving and customer care in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform remote diagnosis and troubleshooting for home charging systems and related energy products
- Guide and support service partners and non-technical advisors through technical issues
- Manage customer cases using Salesforce, ensuring timely updates and resolution
- Coordinate parts ordering, returns, and warranty claim reconciliations with logistics
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex or advanced service issues
- Train other agents and assist in developing training materials
- Provide feedback to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Determine warranty status, manage claims, and handle RMA or out-of-warranty scenarios
- Maintain high customer satisfaction during all service interactions
- Support scheduling of service technicians and manage warm transfers as needed
Job Requirements
- Associate or trade degree in a related field OR four years of equivalent experience working with electrical systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician or working with electrical components; EV charging equipment repair or installation experience preferred
- At least 2 years in a call center or other customer-facing environment
- Strong IT and Wi-Fi troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety-first practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Team player with a strong independent work ethic
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Quick to learn new technologies and processes
- Valid driver's license
