Manufacturing Engineer, Horicon, WI

Pay Range - $ 38-41.97/hr

Bartech has an excellent contract opportunity with John Deere client for a Manufacturing Engineer. As a Manufacturing Engineer located in Horicon, WI, you will apply strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additionally, this role will:

Job Description

  • Spend approximately 50% of the workday on the shop floor.
  • Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs (infrequent).
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including direct support to production employees and reporting progress to management.
  • Utilize knowledge of assembly processes and tooling (highly preferred).
  • Operate a JD Gator within the factory upon completion of training.
  • Travel between facilities using a personal vehicle for meetings as needed.
  • Wear metatarsal safety shoes starting on the first day.

Job Requirements

  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Solid understanding of assembly processes and tooling
  • Preferred: Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, etc.)
  • Alternatively: 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
  • Required: 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered; compensation will be based on experience level
  • Strong background in assembly processes is highly preferred
