Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Embedded Software Test Engineer. Hourly pay range $ 40-42.14
Hybrid (4 days a week in office located in Kanata, Ontario)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Our client is seeking to hire a person with embedded software development expertise.
  • This team develops control algorithms and produces code for vehicle features related to climate, starting, locking, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seats.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Embedded Software - Tester, testing methodology, embedded automation, automotive protocols, blackbox testing
  • Automated Scripting python
  • Understanding of embedded SW automation testing on HW - Knowledge of automotive protocols - Python coding experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Requirement Analysis and review Define Test Strategy for Black Box testing which includes Functional and Integration level Testing Testcase Authoring Testcase Automation Test environment setup[Jenkins] Analyse Test execution Results Defect creation Defect reproduction support Defect Triage Continuous quality improvement by analyzing the leaked defects and enhancing the Testcases
