Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as an IT Systems Engineer will include:

• This role is categorized as a hybrid position and involves a wide range of regional support and implementation activities for servers, storage, networks, and applications.
• The focus is on cybersecurity standards and ITIL best practices.
• The engineer will design, develop, and implement solutions to resolve infrastructure issues and ensure system integrity and performance through collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, IDS, VPNs, MFA, password/data protection).
• Design and coordinate monitoring, maintenance, integration, and automation of infrastructure systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to recommend and implement security solutions.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Guide Systems Administrators in troubleshooting, maintenance, and escalated support.
• Participate in incident response and remediation activities.
• Support technical escalations and application support (e.g., M365, SharePoint).
• Maintain accurate system configuration and change records.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and TISAX standards.
• Stay current with infrastructure and cybersecurity trends.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
• 7+ years in IT, with 3-5 years in infrastructure or network security.
• Proven experience with network security tools and strategies.
• Hands-on experience with server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Disaster recovery planning and incident response experience.
• Experience with hypervisor and VDI solutions in hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards and ITIL practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and TISAX compliance.
• Proficiency in supporting M365, SharePoint, and business applications.
• Technical expertise in VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and VMware Horizon.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management capabilities.

Starting salary of minimum to $102K-120k below max depending on education, skills, experience and level of experience
