Bilingual Training Coordinator

Hourly pay range $ 28-29
Hybrid - 3 days in office
Training - onsite 4-5 days a week, (around 2 weeks - training duration may vary)
Job Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Training Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing dealership performance, ensuring compliance with training standards, and improving customer satisfaction through effective coordination and communication.
As a Bilingual Training Coordinator, you will:
- Serve as a liaison between the business and dealerships to ensure training processes and procedures are followed.
- Maintain regular contact with dealership personnel to assess needs and support training initiatives.
- Coordinate technical and retail training programs using the Product Service Training Catalogue, Retail Excellence Program and Guidelines.
- Manage course scheduling, enrollment, and instructor coordination through the Centre of Learning platform.
- Respond to inquiries via 800 lines and email regarding training programs, guidelines, and substitutions/cancellations.
- Monitor and report on Minimum Training Standards (MTS) compliance using the Centre of Learning and various reporting tools.
- Finalize course rosters, send invitations, and ensure accurate attendance tracking and grading.
- Support internal enrollments for TAC, OEC, Field Service Engineers, and Brand Quality Managers.
- Develop and distribute Virtual Classroom Training (VCT) schedules for Toronto and Montreal, ensuring proper instructor allocation.
- Manage Hands-On and VCT top-ups by adding additional students based on enrollment needs.
- Enforce substitution and cancellation policies for hands-on and VCT courses, ensuring prerequisites are maintained.
- Monitor classroom and VCT space availability and proactively fill open seats.
- Oversee classroom attendance and grading, ensuring billing is submitted accurately and on time.
- Utilize SLAP mainframe systems to verify employment history, program enrollment, and dealership data.
- Confirm MTS compliance for Warranty Labour Rate applications for Mechanical and Body Shop departments.
- Support the maintenance and ongoing TAC Talk Attendance Report.
Job Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (reading, writing and speaking)
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- 4 year experience in training coordination, scheduling and customer service preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive service environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital learning platforms.
