Material Business Analyst

Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Material Business Analyst. Hourly pay range: $42.30/hr

Job Responsibilities

· Coordinate and plan prototype material orders using Ford internal systems (GPIRS, Aurora, EZ Budget)
· Manage build schedules for transmissions and eDrive units to meet customer requirements
· Lead and support engineering and business office initiatives across Powertrain and Chassis Systems
· Maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports to ensure timely delivery of objectives
· Provide financial analysis, track materials budgets, and support forecasting activities
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, and Suppliers
· Support validation planning and ensure alignment of test/build timing
· Reconcile actuals, explain variances, and update forecasts
· Process Purchased Service requests and maintain compliance tracking

Job Requirements

· Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
· Strong leadership and organizational skills
· Proven project management experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in cross-functional and remote teams
· Familiarity with Ford's product development lifecycle and internal tools (GPIRS, Aurora, EZ Budget)
· Experience with BOM creation and maintenance, financial modeling, and data analysis preferred
· PMA Certification or formal project management training is a plus
