Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Ride and Handling Engineer.     Hourly Pay Range: $50/hr


    Location: Saline, MI
    Duration: Long-Term Contract

    Job Responsibilities

  • Develop ride and handling performance for vehicle frame, body, and chassis systems (including suspension and bushings) through prediction, evaluation, and analysis.
  • Utilize CAE tools such as FEA and MBD simulations to solve engineering challenges.
  • Collect vehicle and bench test measurements in collaboration with technician team members.
  • Analyze and visualize data to support vehicle dynamics development.

  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience (including internships, co-ops, or SAE project leadership).
  • Completed academic coursework in mechanical engineering disciplines such as structures, vibrations, or automotive dynamics.
  • Experience with engineering experimentation (planning, measurements, statistical analysis, reporting).
  • Proficiency with commercial FEA pre-processors, solvers, and post-processors.

  • Experience contributing to projects as part of a diverse team.
