Hourly Pay: $37-$40

Candidate will need to be open to work 1st 2nd or 3rd shift. This position will rotate.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to lead and manage teams of 15-30 employees on the production floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing daily operations with a focus on safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement, while effectively coordinating multiple priorities and administering company-union agreements. The ideal candidate will foster teamwork, resolve conflicts, and guide technical personnel in quality control and assurance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise teams of 15-30 employees on the production floor
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate multiple tasks and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Manage timekeeping and attendance, and administer company-union agreements
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Resolve conflicts and address performance issues within the team, especially in a unionized setting
  • Guide technical personnel in problem-solving, inspection, quality control, and quality assurance activities
  • Enforce standardized work practices and ensure compliance with processes
  • Perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of direct supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience resolving conflicts and making decisions under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, typing, email, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising in a union environment
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP), and Throughput Improvement Process (TIP)
  • Background in supply chain or quality management
  • Experience with manufacturing and assembly best practices
  • Lean Manufacturing, Red X & DFSS certification preferred
  • Experience with built-in-quality initiatives and timekeeping systems
