Travel: Must be open to travel



Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate promptly and effectively when plant Quality Concern Notifications (QCNs) are issued.
  • Present issue resolution status to plant management.
  • Act as key interface with Ford and supplier quality teams.
  • Understand supplier manufacturing processes and design responsibility.
  • Facilitate visits from supplier corporate offices and deploy resources as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, SCs, and CCs.
  • Provide daily support across multiple shifts.
  • Collaborate with Incoming Quality and PVT teams to investigate emerging concerns.
  • Manage defective part returns and ensure proper quarantine and certified stock usage.
  • Drive issue closure and communicate status through PCA to all stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality-related meetings (IQ Binning, VRT, FCPA, ECB) and audits.
  • Support warranty claims processes and ensure timely delivery of 8D reports.
  • Maintain awareness of BSAQ projects and coordinate updates with STA, PVT, and VRT teams.


Job Requirements

  • Experience: 2-5 years
  • Education: BS in Engineering or equivalent STEM degree


Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of injection molding, plastic fabrication, and molded component defects
  • Experience with testing, validation software, and wiring harness engineering
  • Ability to troubleshoot wiring harness issues and interpret engineering blueprints
  • Familiarity with problem-solving techniques (Black Belt, Shainin, Global 8D, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and strategic planning skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and cost control
  • Self-sufficient, organized, and collaborative professional
