Business Analyst
Location: Warren, MI
Pay Rate: $47 per hour
Assignment Length: 1 year with possibility of extension
Job Description:
The main function of a business analyst is to perform analysis on automotive sales, pricing, and incentives. The business analyst will be responsible for identifying data insights, developing reports and/or presenting findings to management.
Provide regular reporting; Example: updates on EV tax credit changes (1-2 times per week).
Data Analysis & Insights:

• Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Translate data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership decision-making.
• Deliver standard recurring reports as needed.

Presentation:

• Prepare and present data-driven insights to internal leadership in a concise and impactful manner.

Data Analysis and Presentation (Required)

• Work with large data from multiple sources
• Be able to identify trends and compile data into meaningful charts and graphs
• Be able to understand and present the story within the data
• Adapt the message and presentation based on the audience
• Advanced Technical Expertise in Excel & PowerPoint (Required)
• Streamline processes and drive efficiencies
• Creativity from a PowerPoint Perspective.
• Solid Understanding of Microeconomics (Preferred)
• Understand relationships between Supply and Demand on Price
• Understand how price and incentives impact consumer behaviors
• Understand Elasticity and be able to calculate it
• Prior experience working with automotive sales, product and/or incentive pricing data sources is a plus (Preferred)
