Core Display Engineer

Hourly pay range $44 - $46/hr.
Job Overview & Responsibilities
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Core Display Engineer to lead development, launch, and quality for interior displays.
What You'll Do

• Lead detailed design reviews with suppliers to optimize and ensure high-quality designs meeting client's standards.
• Support Ford's optical requirements and measurement methods.
• Contribute to client's display technology roadmap, including optical and electrical interfaces.
• Drive continuous improvements in products and internal processes.
• Create display design rules and best practices.
• Support warranty failure analysis and resolution.
• Lead Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) for system, subsystem, and component levels.
• Sign off on system, subsystem, and component designs with specific sign-off responsibilities.
• Act as the go-to resource for problem-solving related to launch, recall, quality, and field issues.
• Interface with Display Application Engineers globally.
• Assist in developing global display specifications.
• Support technical design reviews for display components and subsystems (e.g., cluster and center stack).
• Contribute to next-generation display and IVI interface architecture development.
• Lead design cost-saving idea development and implementation.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience specializing in display design and validation.
• Deep technical background in display technologies.
• Experience with electronic module quality disciplines and processes.
• Excellent program management and mentoring skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Experience Preferred

• Experience working in an LCD manufacturing environment.
