Warehouse Supervisor

Group Leader - Union Warehouse (2nd Shift)

Hourly Pay Range: $27-$28/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Manage employees in a UAW environment
• Counsel and support hourly employees with needs/concerns
• Address performance behaviors (positive and negative)
• Use problem-solving processes to address opportunities and engage workforce
• Apply Workplace Organization (WPO) process to improve layouts and efficiency
• Perform daily Timekeeping System (TKS) updates for payroll accuracy
• Conduct daily meetings to communicate business performance
• Perform weekly safety observation tours
• Plan daily workloads in advance and support colleagues to optimize shift performance
• Enforce contractual requirements and shop rules
• Perform daily SOP audit checks

Job Requirements

• 4-year degree preferred (not required)
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
• Must be able to work long hours and weekends (including Sundays)
• Flexible to work 1st shift if business needs require
• Candidates ideally within 20 miles (Flint is furthest acceptable)
• Top 3 Skills:
1. Excel - basic knowledge
2. Leadership - military experience considered, managerial courage
3. Union leadership experience
