Hourly pay range $ 30-35

Position Overview
The Production Supervisor is a frontline leadership role responsible for supervising hourly employees, ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing operations, and meeting daily production and quality targets. This role includes on‑the‑job training, development opportunities, and clear pathways for career progression.
As part of the Manufacturing team at Ford, you will help support the production of world‑class, innovative vehicles while contributing to continuous improvement in processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly production team.
  • Organize workflow to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals.
  • Coach employees on standardized work and ensure all lines are operating safely and producing quality parts.
  • Drive performance through servant leadership, setting high standards for yourself and the team.
  • Build strong working relationships with hourly employees, union representatives, and management.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and consistently enforce workplace policies and the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to remain professional under pressure
  • Commitment to continuous improvement with a customer‑first mindset
  • Ability to enforce safety rules and policies consistently
  • Comfort administering and upholding the CBA
  • Openness to diverse perspectives and ideas


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in safety or quality processes
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
  • Experience managing a unionized workforce
