USA - Customer Support Engineering - 10
Bartech Staffing is proud to partner with a global technology leader who is accepting applications for a Customer Support Engineer. This is a contractual opportunity, where the associate will sit at a client site in Arlington, TX.
Hourly Pay Range $36 per hour to $37 per hour (W2)
As a Customer Support Engineer, you will serve as the primary link between the manufacturing facility and the customer plant. The successful candidate will reside on-site at the customer location and will act as a key communication channel, ensuring quality, responsiveness, and seamless coordination of activities involving product verification, issue resolution, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the communication bridge between the customer plant and the manufacturing facility.
- Re-verify parts within the computer system.
- Perform a good first level analysis of non-conformances.
- Verify product and maintain product test equipment.
- Return non-confirming material.
- Input data into Incident Reporting System (IRS).
- Provide technical support and system understanding.
- Conduct/coordinate initial 24-hour containment.
- Be an integral part of the response teams.
- Write a weekly trip report.
- Monitor/negotiate Global Customer Base Return rates.
- Develop customer relationships in the plant to improve the product and maintain or increase the business.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with wiring harnesses, automotive manufacturing environments, and/or electronics.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and email.
- Training and experience with business and computer applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and leadership teams
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions quickly.
