Pay Rate: $38-$45/hour

Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, quality, and efficiency
  • Review operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve production or processing issues
  • Develop and maintain production tracking and quality control systems
  • Analyze production, quality, and maintenance data to identify and resolve issues
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline employees as needed
  • Address and resolve employee concerns and grievances
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records
  • Oversee production teams as required


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Manufacturing and production processes
    • Quality control methodologies
    • Equipment, machines, tools, and maintenance practices
  • Technical understanding of die casting operations
  • Prior union environment experience required
  • Manufacturing experience is required


Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Group Leader or Team Lead experience may substitute for a degree
  • Organizational leadership, management, or technical degrees are a plus


Schedule & Work Requirements

  • Must be flexible to work all three shifts
  • Weekend work is required
    • Approximately 16 hours every other weekend
    • Must arrive 30 minutes early for shift handoff meetings
  • Overtime is mandatory
  • Candidates must be flexible supporting both maintenance and production schedules
  • Employees work 7 out of every 14 days
