Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Range: $28.00-$32.00/hour (W2 Contract)

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct quality reviews (tests, inspections) at established inspection points.
- Perform incoming/receiving inspections in accordance with control plans and procedures.
- Tag, quarantine, and report nonconforming products as required.
- Participate in Internal Audits as an Audit Team Leader.
- Assist in root‑cause investigations and determination of nonconformance causes.
- Plan, develop, set up, and conduct load, ergonomic, tensile, and other performance testing.
- Support the development of inspection plans and product test methods.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate quality records.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System.
- Prepare quality plans, FMEAs, Control Plans, reports, and related documentation.
- Participate in design/contract reviews to identify quality‑related resource requirements.
- Analyze warranty/rework orders and customer complaints to identify trends.
- Train and assist personnel in quality documentation processes.
- Perform other quality functions as directed.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
- Formal training and/or demonstrated knowledge of inspection tools.
- Formal training and/or demonstrated knowledge of tensile testing equipment and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Hands‑on experience in product inspection.
- Training in statistical techniques (e.g., SPC).
- Formal training in ISO 9000 quality system requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with AIAG tools including QSA, PPAP, and FMEA.
- Experience developing corrective action plans, inspection strategies, Pareto analysis, histograms, SPC, and other quality tools.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience working with customers and suppliers.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software).
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in related quality or manufacturing roles.
