Plant Controls Engineer

Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Shift-Flexible Plant Controls Engineer in Tonawanda, NY. Hourly pay range $40 - $48/hr.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting automation/robotic equipment in addition to electrical controls. This role will involve PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The candidate will work closely with additional engineering teams to support facility and equipment upgrades as well as other ad hoc controls engineering responsibilities.
Experience Required

• 5 - 7+ years' experience PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Time and project management skills.
• Experience working with vision systems, instrumentation, and other machine controls experience
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred

Education

• Required: Associate Degree.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
