Hourly pay range $ 24-26
Job Responsibilities
- Install batteries and rectifier battery plants (all voltages)
- Perform ironwork and mount cable racks with awareness of Zone 4 seismic requirements
- Upgrade and replace DC power plants and associated distribution equipment (PBDs, BDFBs, BCDBBs, inverters, converters)
- Run, lace, and terminate DC power cabling (lug crimping, taping, etc.)
- Take voltage and gravity readings from battery strings
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Assist with AC power work (ranging from 120V single-phase to 480V three-phase systems)
Job Requirements
- Entry-level to 1 year of experience working in DC power or related mechanical/electrical trades
- Willingness to travel to customer sites away from home 50% of the time. (all travel costs will be covered by the company).
- Able to work in various weather and job site conditions
- Reliable transportation and active driver's license.
- Preferred: experience running, lacing, and terminating DC power cabling (lug crimping, taping, etc.)
